Special kids with special needs,
exactly what does that mean?
Everyone's special, from God's point of view,
but some needs are so much more keen.

The hand that guides a special child,
bears a strength from a greater source,
reaching down from up above,
to help them through life's struggled course.

Unending patience, comprehension restyled,
perception with insight profound,
God knows without doubt, the qualities required,
when His "special needs" parents are crowned.

God makes no mistakes, there's purpose in mind,
with wisdom, He plots out His plan.
There's so much to learn from God's special child,
eyes opened***the child leads the man.

Look deep in your heart, you see what is there,
so simple yet just out of reach.
So many riches of life's golden gifts,
these children, so willing to teach.

Think of the parents God blessed with these gifts,
of owning the tools of such trade.
So many of us who have not a clue,
would never have mastered the grade.

Honor the parents who give heart and soul,
to the endless toil and measure.
What's given back from the heart of such child,
is a priceless and so precious treasure.

Always remember, my forgotten angels,
that forgotten is what you are not.
The gem in your crown, when you sit by God's thrown,
through angels, has long since been bought.
