I sit here in my home,
in darkness and all alone.
All around me all I can see,
are dreams never meant to be.
Where did our love go wrong?
It was true and it was strong,
then one day without warning,
you left me here, my hearts mourning.
Tell me what did i do that was bad?
What did i do to make you mad?
Why did you take off so fast,
and leave me alone in your past?
We were happy together,
the smiles seemed to last forever.
Then one day your love stopped,
now our love is left to rot.
I will pick up the pieces,
"move on" will be my new thesis.
The damage done, there is no reprimand,
because this heart can never love again.
