I'm just a girl,
with no one to love.
I once had an angel,
he was sent from above.
But distance and time,
tore us apart,
leaving me lonely,
with a mere broken heart.
Everyday I cried,
teardrops like rain.
My heart almost stopped,
from the hurt and pain.
The day you left, hurt me so.
I'm not sure you'll ever know,
how much I loved you,
how much I still care.
Forever I thought, you'd always be there.
What do I do? I just don't know,
I never thought you'd be the one to go.
Remembering a love we once knew,
leaves me breathless, saddened and blue.
Now all I do is ponder and cry,
knowing it's finally time....to say "Goodbye"
