Our Sacred Place

Like no other,
We all have our own sacred place.
Somewhere deep within ourselves;
Somewhere not known to others.
A place where we go to get away,
To be alone and just think!
Mixed emotions lay within this unique place,
All our needs,
All our dreams and fears and what more
The sense of hurt and betrayal from the past.
We strive to find out who we are
And what we want to be,
Knowing each day it could be different.
Who are we... really?
