I was fading into the darkness of the night,
slowly and knowingly my heart was growing cold.
Then you came by with your warming light,
shining upon me like the glitter of pure gold.
Wherever I saw, I could only see lies,
to be sincere, I really had no reason.
Then I saw truth, when I saw in your eyes,
it made me want to be a better person.
The way we love and the way we care,
we gain passion without losing respect.
Now that we've become an inseparable pair,
I know together we'll be just perfect.
During the day, the Sun is so persistent,
at night the Moon and the Stars I see.
They are all so bright and important,
but my love you mean a world to me.
